As part of the host broadcast teams, we were trusted to deliver camera operation for three of the world’s biggest sporting events: the FIFA World Cup Russia 2018, UEFA EURO 2020, and the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022.
Each tournament presented its own unique challenges – from capturing the drama and scale of world-class stadiums to meeting the precision and reliability expected on a global broadcast watched by billions.
Across all three tournaments, we worked within large, multi-disciplinary broadcast teams delivering live coverage to audiences around the world. Our role focused on capturing the emotion, pace, and atmosphere of the matches while meeting the strict technical and creative standards required by international broadcasters.
This involved operating a range of professional broadcast cameras in high-pressure live environments, adapting to evolving match dynamics in real time, and collaborating closely with directors, vision mixers, and production teams to ensure seamless coverage.
From pitch-side action and player reactions to crowd atmosphere and stadium build-up, every shot contributed to telling the story of the match. Working on events of this scale also meant adapting to complex logistics, fast-changing production requirements, and the demands of live global broadcast schedules – skills that now underpin our approach to every shoot, no matter the size.
